Christmas in Helsinge.

The pedestrian street of Helsinge with christmas decorations.

The pedestrian-area here looks nice even in a Danish winter rain, though it must be like walking on ice when the stones are wet.
It is cozy with red houses and red tiles.

The streets of Helsinge are empty in the morning. Not much to evoke your passions other than the redness of the houses and the lights of the decorations for christmas.
I have been living in other places, where we would all gather in the morning to have a soup or buy a hot drink from the street-vendors.

What a lovely street! I love the way it charms with its austerity - the roads in my country are all decorated with garish Christmas lightings, which totally smack of commercialism. By contrast the streets of Helsinge are peaceful and inviting.
